Marrakech

Following a pick-up from your hotel or riad in the city center, spend the morning exploring the botanic treasures of Marrakech. Go to the exquisite Majorelle Garden, designed by an expatriate French artist in vivid cobalt blue.

 

Pause for reflection by the pool in Menara Garden, a favored summer residence of the Sultan Abderrahmane. Admire the picturesque surroundings of fruit orchards and olive groves.

 

Next, tour the historical city walls of Marrakech. Discover amazing palaces and monuments, such as the sweet-smelling gardens of Bahia Palace. Continue to Koutoubia Tower to see its 70-meter high minaret. Explore the recently discovered Saadian Tombs.

 

Break for lunch in one of the best local restaurant, and try the best food and some traditional dishes.
Next, wander the labyrinthine souks and medinas and mix with the locals selling everything from fresh vegetables to spices, leather and jewelry. Marvel at the acrobats, snake charmers, storytellers and musicians in the main Djemaa El Fna square.

 

Drive back to your riad/hotel at the end of the day.
